À propos de l'auteur
Horane Smith is an award-winning Jamaican born Canadian author and journalist. He has had a distinguished career as a writer, having worked in all areas of the media. He’s best known for the novel Lover’s Leap: Based on the Jamaican Legend, and its sequel Dawn at Lover’s Leap: the Jamaican Legend continues, Reggae Silver, and Seven Days in Jamaica. He has been described as “growing from strength to strength… a gripping writer… one of our best emerging writers… no ordinary novelist.” Horane is the first recipient of the BURLA Award for Outstanding Contribution to African North American and Caribbean Literature. His other popular novels are Port Royal, The Lynching Stream, Marooned in Nova Scotia, Underground to Freedom, By the Rivers of Babylon, Shortcut to Hell, The Will to Live and When A Marriage Goes Blue.
