My 15 years of financial services to families started with structuring Living Trusts and pre planning final expenses then expanded to include life insurance products and intensive training in financial planning for risk free cash accumulation with tax free access at any age. During this time I found that most women, under normal circumstances, were unprepared to handle family finances and structure financial security for the future. I also saw that the situation became exponentially worse if the woman was in crisis mode due to a divorce or death of a spouse. I began to realize that it was my mission in life to share my knowledge and help train women in financial literacy that would result in personal and/or family financial security. I began by designing training manuals that would build a financial core in steps over time. As I worked thru the concepts for the material I realized that training early in life would yield lifelong benefits and that other strategies could be added as individual circumstances changed over time. After evaluating my idea, I found that teaching a workshop would be too localized and reach too few women to really effect a generational change in skills, a paradigm shift, consequently, I decided to put the training into a book. Needless to say, one book became 6 training manuals geared to life circumstances and thus, The Wise Woman’s Academy was born. Our sole purpose is to train women of all ages and skill levels the facts they need to be financially savvy and secure.
