À propos de l'auteur

Since 1997, Susan Caplan McCarthy has taught nature and art classes for the Massachusetts-based conservation organization Mass Audubon. She works with children ages 3-to-14, teaching them about plants and animals with the goal of getting kids and adults to develop a sense of place and an appreciation of the natural world. To further this goal, she’s written a series of outdoor activity books for adults to use with children, including Earth Art, Green at Heart, and The Green Explorer. Through her website, FriendswithNature.com, she sells nature lesson plans geared to adults who want to teach children ages 3-to-11 about the nature of North America, as well as selling handcrafted educational toys.
