Seventeen-year-old Krista is unsure she'll be able to complete her much anticipated senior year and graduate with her class. Connie Gaertner, a graduate of the University of Michigan-School of Dental Hygiene, is a former co-owner of flower shops and greenhouses in Michigan. Having received certificates from the Institute of Children's Literature in Connecticut, she writes for young adults. Connie’s first book, Wake-Up Calls, was noted by Kirkus Reviews as “A rarity among today’s YA offerings.” Changing is the second book in the series. Connie lives on Marco Island, Florida.
