Synopsis

One of the best ways to engage children in history is by involving them in activities related to their own experiences. Beginning with a time line of their school day and their own life, students then explore their family history and traditions, interview family members, create a family tree, examine artifacts, and analyze the daily lives of people who lived long ago in comparison with their lives today.
