Thanks to self-policing, users are not able to con the system, and any attempts to do so are automatically rejected. Since its inception, there have been a number of other currencies that have been created to try and challenge Bitcoin and the Blockchain. However, none have managed to achieve the same reach, and none have become as popular as Bitcoin.
