This book is called Prism because there are so many facets of the human experience. I have tried to shine the light of understanding on many faces of this prism, but other facets lay in shadow, waiting to be illuminated by others, maybe you. Prism explores the human experience on all seven continents over a span of 5,000 years.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR – Meredith Gilbert is a retired history teacher. She lives in Cumberland, Rhode Island, with her husband, Bob. They have four grown sons and six grandchildren. Mrs. Gilbert considers herself a storyteller. She is also the author of Eye, stories of five generations of her family, and Dr. Stephenson’s Suits, an adventure story about a terrorist attack at Fenway Park in Boston during the 2004 World Series.
