Thomas E. Johnson is a retired attorney. Originally from Nephi, Utah, he lived and practiced law in Chicago for 33 years. He attended Snow College, the University of Utah, and Northwestern University. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Japan. He is a former Bishop of the Chicago First Ward and Stake President of the Wilmette, Illinois Stake. He is married to Norma Christensen and they have five children and twelve grand-children.
