Feist has produced many books for folks of various ages. He has released several National Park photo-essays from the Great Smoky Mountains. Feist claims trail cam footage of furbearers in Tennessee to be the most varied single-site camera stills ever produced worldwide. In 2014, Feist released a high-quality naturalist’s journal entitled “The Black-Eyed Susans Are Dying Now” reflective of the brief North woods summers in Minnesota, where he now resides with his wife, three children (at home), zany black lab puppy, Cody, and a few livestock. In terms of deer hunting, Feist, as this study suggests, believes some tenets of the popularized QDM movement, utilized for the purpose of deer conservation and herd needs.
