Twenty years into a successful corporate career I decided to venture out on my own with a boutique consulting company. With two decades of leadership experience at two of the largest companies on the planet, I have had the privilege of learning from and being mentored by some of the brightest minds in the business. As I got my company off the ground, I found an opportunity to share my rich and diverse personal experiences with others. Jim McKay is a trusted advisor, writer, father and seasoned supply chain executive with deep roots in the retail and industrial gas sectors. In January, 2016 he founded The Avleca Group, a boutique consulting firm based in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. Jim helps corporate clients develop an end to end strategy blueprint that drives world class culture and engagement, connecting the dots from the shop floor to the board room. He is sought out for not only his ability to drive improvement in all sizes of business, but also to serve as trusted advisor to executives and key leaders as they embark on transformational change initiatives. Jim holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario, an Executive MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, is a Six Sigma Blackbelt, a Chartered Public Accountant (CPA, CMA) and holds the CCLP (Certified CITT Logistics Professional) designation.
