About the Next-Generation MCAS Tests
In the 2016-2017 school year, the state of Massachusetts introduced the Next-Generation MCAS tests to replace the PARCC assessments and the previous MCAS tests. The tests will contain PARCC items, as well as items developed specifically for the new MCAS tests. Students will first take the test in the spring of 2017. This practice book will prepare students for this new test.
