During a long career in the loss prevention industry, Ian has conducted hundreds of investigations into the causes of loss within large and small organisations. He has saved millions of pounds in potential lost revenue and facilitated the recovery of considerable amounts of lost resources. Ian has also been involved in the management of several disaster situations. Since 2003 Ian has owned his own training company, specialising in loss prevention and security related training. The Company has clients in the UK, UAE, Africa, The Netherlands, Malaysia and Cyprus. As an author Ian writes frequently on security and loss prevention related topics and the training requirements for them. He is a member of the Chartered Management Institute, the Institute of Professional Investigators and the Security Institute. Ian holds the equivalent of a post-graduate degree in management and several other relevant educational qualifications.
