À propos de l'auteur

Katherine is retired from from UT Southwestern-Moncrief Cancer Institute; She continues her work with cancer patients by serving as a community volunteer. In addition, to her writing, she created a jewelry line called, “No Less a Starfish”, which was produced by Jeep Collins. Katherine coauthored the book, “Step's to Surviving Breast Cancer “. Her personal story was published in the book, “Chicken Soup for the Surviving Soul” and later was reenacted for PAX television staring Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker. Another project Katherine is proud of, is the design, building and maintaining the Legacy of Love Breast Cancer Garden and Memorial Park, in Fort Worth, Texas. “My cancer was the catalyst that caused me to look beyond who I thought I was, to see who I could become”. ~Katherine Stephens
