Patrick Gene Frank is a poet, essayist, and songwriter with a background in teaching and counseling. A former civil rights worker, Patrick is committed to the preservation and enhancement of freedom and justice for all in the USA. A Specialist level counselor and Master's level teacher, Patrick has worked with children, adolescents and adults. His political columns appear periodically in the Asheville (NC) Citizen-Times. He and his wife, Linda (an artist-crafter), have three adult children between them. His late father, Pat Frank, authored the best-selling apocalyptic novel, Alas, Babylon.
