Dr. Zuckerman is a practicing doctor of internal medicine, a successful venture capitalist and the co-holder of the design patent on the infamous scalloped neck tie. He was born in Brooklyn and, although he has lived in Minneapolis for the past 26 years, he is an inveterate New Yorker who regularly returns to his native culture in Manhattan to polish up on his fluent Brooklynese. Caring for his patients has always been the fuel for his exuberant optimism and the inspiration for most of his writing.
