The pleasure of photographing natural splashes comes from their unique and surprising character since there aren’t two identical splashes in nature. Also, to make visible what is virtually invisible using a particular technique has its magical uniqueness. Until recently, the techniques used to practice splash photography were a sort of “secret” art dominated by few. The reason for this was the rare access to knowledge and the lack of specialized equipment. Now that we are enjoying the information age, fortunately, the sources of knowledge are abundant, and therefore photo industry thrives on releasing incredible and affordable novelties every day. This book will take the reader to the ins and outs of various high-speed techniques to freeze splashes by controlling fluid dynamics in their natural chaos.
