Synopsis

This is a story of a young man running away from a mental hospital, escaping into the desert with the intention of killing himself. It draws from my own personal experience and is broken up into a series of short stories and scenes. There is no point to this book, nothing to learn; rather it is a painting of a life in a certain time and place. I did not enjoy writing this, rather it bled out of me on days where I saw nothing in my future and myself. The words were grated out of the tips of my fingers, until there are only stumps where there was once feeling. Buy it if you want. Hate it or love it, it makes no difference to me. I have nothing left to feel about this book.

À propos de l'auteur

The biography of myself is on the back cover, and expanded on within the book itself. To talk about this now would be to give away what I am hoping you would pay for. Nevertheless I must give you a little to tease the potential patron of my art. I was born in LA to a plastic surgeon and an ex-advertiser become history teacher. I was blessed with hard working, concerned parents who wanted the best for me. They sent me to a good school which gave me a good education and prepared me with many skills I would need later in life. The surgeon killed herself when I was a senior and I attempted to follow those footsteps later in my life. Depression has always been present, but I only went to a mental hospital after I attempted. College happened after the hospital. Then a bouncing from job to job happened. Then unemployment and another mental hospital. I am post hospital but still bouncing from job to job. I live once more in Los Angeles.
