For them to reach their full potential, these massive powerful bucks have to be protected and taught in meticulous fashion by their mothers. Without the matriarchs the white-tailed specie would be doomed. This fictional rendition of the intricate workings of white-tailed society is as much a tribute to the maternal side of the white-tailed world as it is the paternal. Everything has to work together, and work together well, to produce a Master Buck.

À propos de l'auteur

Andrew Bennett has lived his entire life in the mountains of western Maine. At a very early age, during the extremely harsh winters of the 1960s, he developed a deep love and respect for the white-tail deer and their ability to survive. Mr. Bennett graduated in 1976 from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree. This is his second novel, and most of it was conceived while he was deer hunting.
