Synopsis

These secrets affect the water and flora surrounding the pond in unusual ways and raise the curiosity of strangers and authorities who want to investigate these changes. To the children and the caretaker, this threatens the stability of the pond and its occupants, as well as the secret."The Tangles" has no monsters, no aliens, no dark forces, and no violence driving its narrative. But it does have a profound lesson about childhood, hope, curiosity, life, and the how we are connected to our astonishing universe.

À propos de l'auteur

Edward Morneau is a retired teacher who taught English, film, media, and theatre for thirty-five years in the Boston, MA area. He has authored a number of books available on Amazon and elsewhere, and plays guitar in a Beatle cover band, named "Glass Onion." He lives in Salem, MA, works as a freelance writer and makes a killer 19 bean chili and a clam chowder largely considered by chowder enthusiasts (his friends) "the best in the world." Morneau has authored several books of literary hijinks and some of serious consequence: "Willy Loman, Nosferatu" "Billy Budd, WTF?"
