Turf Stars is authored & edited by racing journalist and broadcaster Kel Mansfield who has worked in the sport for more than 40 years.

Last year's Turf Stars included the 14-1 2,000 Guineas Galileo Gold and many other good-priced winners of major races.The 2015 annual featured Derby 1,2 Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs, who at the time of publishing had run just once each in maiden company.

Kel authored the Racing & Football Outlook's Focus column for more than 25 years and previewed thousands of races for the same national weekly newspaper.
Kel's other credits include reporting live from the major race meetings for several local and national TV & radio stations in the UK and Ireland.
