Once going through the recruiting process himself as one of Texas top football recruits and athletes, Anthony Harrison decided to assist families with their student-athlete’s recruiting process. Anthony received letters and phone calls from the top universities in America including: LSU, Miami, Notre Dame, Cal Berkeley, Northwestern, Brown, Columbia and Texas A&M to name a few. Using the methods in the book Anthony decided to accept a full scholarship to Louisiana Tech University home of legends such as: Terry Bradshaw, Karl Malone, Willie Roaf, Teresa Weatherspoon and the owners of Duck Dynasty to mention a few. Anthony chose Louisiana Tech over TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Air Force. Upon graduating with a B.S. in Finance and a Master’s Degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration Anthony began assisting several student-athletes with their recruiting process. Anthony noticed that there was something missing for those athletes and their families who wanted to play sports in college. Anthony wrote a how to guide known as The Top Recruit to assist families with their recruitment. The Top Recruit is a detailed perspective that covers the recruiting cycle from a recruiters, student-athlete and parent perspective. The expertise in the book comes from interviews from several collegiate athletes, college coaches and student-athletes. Recently Anthony also coached at Episcopal High School the home of two 5 star recruits. Anthony has professional relationships with coaches from the Big Ten, Big 12, SEC, ACC, Pac 12, Ivy League and Division 2 & 3 schools. Their expert opinion and conversations are paraphrased throughout the book. Anthony has also trained, coached and mentored over 1000 student-athletes with some of his athletes receiving scholarship offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Indiana, Cal Berkeley, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, TCU, Baylor, and Nebraska to name a few. Anthony has also drew content from his peers while also recalling conversation throughout training sessions with some of the best professional athletes in the world.
