Pete’s food truck has two major problems: a persistent smell of cat urine and a reputation for mystery meat more suited for college pranks. He was ready to flip his last tortilla until a physics experiment gone nuclear catapulted him into a time vortex.

Now, Pete is lost in the space-time continuum with Clara, a brilliant physics student who has read every paper ever written on temporal mechanics and would very much like Pete to stop making pop culture references about it.

  • The 1970s: A high-stakes state fair showdown where the "butterfly effect" is replaced by the "burrito effect."


Clara’s handsy professor catches up to them with a time-travel app to hijack Pete’s recipes and take Clara as his babe. With the help of a sentient robot lawyer suffering from a crippling identity crisis and a merry prankster Neanderthal, Pete must out-cook, out-run, and out-wit a man who owns the timeline.

Aaron Frale co-wrote a no-budget comedy flick called Hamlet the Vampire Slayer and also a bunch of books. The University of New Mexico bestowed an MFA in Dramatic Writing onto him. He also screams and plays guitar for the prog/metal band Spiral. He lives with his wife Felicia, his son, two cats, and a small dog who thinks he's a large dog in Columbia Heights, MN.
