I started my career in the City of London at the centre of the issues and mergers market working with the City’s leading merchant (investment) banks producing the shareholder communication documents and 400 company annual reports. Relocating to Paris in 1981 I created a financial advertising agency matching initially the capital markets needs of the French and international banks and developing image and financial product advertising. Investor relations became a speciality and I was elected to America’s National Investor Relations Institute in 1988. Answering a request from a colleague, related to Business English as a Second Language programme, I found myself developing and then launching a third career enabling me to share my experience and skills with senior French managers, as well as lecturing to senior students at Leonard de Vinci University in Paris’s La Défense business district. Today, I live in Athens and continue lecturing on Business and working in Paris and the Nordic countries on investor relations.
