Mr. Apel sits on multiple advisory boards and consults to over 50 investment firms on High-Tech and graphic arts industry, specifically printing sector. For the past 5 years, Mr. Apel has been voted into "Print Industry Who is Who" as well as "Top Pros to Know". Previously Mr. Apel was voted to be top 25 most influential CMOs and recognized in the Top 35 Print industry Most Influential Leaders.
Dr. Joe Webb is a 35-year veteran of the graphic arts industries, and one of the graphic arts industry's best-known consultants and forecasters. His book, Disrupting the Future: Uncommon Wisdom for Navigating Print's Challenging Marketplace, was described as ''the manifesto for a new generation of printers.'' He is a Ph.D. graduate of the NYU Center for Graphic Communications Management and Technology, holds an MBA in Management Information Systems, with baccalaureate studies in Managerial Sciences and Marketing. Dr. Webb has taught graduate and undergraduate courses in Quantitative Analysis, Marketing, and Organizational Behavior.
His graphic arts career began with Agfa's Graphic Systems Division in 1978, He was a marketing and planning executive with Chemco Photoproducts, and entered consulting full time in 1987. Dr. Webb was an e-commerce entrepreneur with the founding of TrendWatch Graphic Arts in 1995, which was sold to multinational publisher Reed Elsevier in 2000. He is now known for his business and economic analysis at WhatTheyThink.com, where his work has appeared since 2003.
