À propos de l'auteur

Ebony Freeland Bryant was raised in Hillsborough, NC by two awesome parents, Deacon Theodore and Rev. Sharon Freeland. From early on, her parents always told her that she could be anything she wanted to be. They expected a lot from her but always showed love and support in anything that she did. Ebony attended and graduated from Orange High School and the University of NC at Wilmington. She was blessed with her wonderful husband, Kevin in 2006 and 2 delightful stepdaughters, Kiyah and Dominiqua. They were followed by two special little people, Sanai and Kennedi. Her family is her motivation and joy. God uses them all of the time to give her laughter and excitement. I In June of 2011, Ebony attended a Wednesday night bible study and the Word reached her. It was the parable of the 10 talents and with each verse, she heard more and more. Overnight, the Lord spoke to her about sharing His Word through a weekly blog. He encouraged Ebony to be transparent and honest and share what He instructed. She has learned and grown so much and prays that others have been blessed by her experience. In 2013, God impressed upon her to extend the reach of the blog by publishing a book and through an anonymous donor, the journey began. God is now expanding Rhema to include small intimate retreats, beginning in Summer 2015. In June 2014, Ebony was licensed as a minister and ordained as an elder in November 2016. She is a member of Sozo Life Ministries in Hillsborough, NC under the awesome leadership of Pastor Kysha Thompson. Accepting the call to ministry further challenged Ebony to use the gifts that God has given her to share God with everyone through various mediums. I am excited about where Rhema will go as a ministry and to see God get the glory!
