An intriguing account of the life of poultry industry pioneer Jesse Jewell. Along with other entrepreneurs of the 40's, 50's and 60's, Gainesville, Georgia became known, and remains so today, as the Poultry Capital of the world. The human side of this story, the drama in the heart break and happiness in their lives is told from interviews and extensive research. 'Pass the Chicken Please, The Life and Times of Jesse Jewell' is not a text or history book. Instead, is the real life story of people working to make the free market system a source of fulfillment for them and their families.
