He's determined to get rid of her. She's determined to stay.

Renowned musician Garry Danzlo had everything — until a devastating accident took it all. Now he's retreating to a Colorado mountain cabin, guilt-ridden and done with the world. The last thing he wants is the relentlessly optimistic nurse his sister has hired to rehabilitate him.

Amanda Fields doesn't have time for a difficult patient. She needs this job — every dollar of it — to adopt Robbie, the eight-year-old boy in a wheelchair who already owns her heart. Getting fired is simply not an option. Neither, apparently, is keeping things professional.

What starts as a battle of wills in a snowbound cabin slowly becomes something neither of them planned for — funny, emotional, and impossible to walk away from.

"Impossible to put down... fans of romance will find themselves absolutely riveted." — Book Reviewer List

"Hardly ever does one find an author with the ability to recreate the sensations of the human heart with such clarity." — Divine Zape, Readers' Favorite
