Nancy brings a fresh and insightful perspective as an author, illustrator and creative professional. As a child, she loved art and would spend hours drawing and painting images either from imagination or from storybooks that she read. A productive 20-year career as an elementary school teacher and guidance counselor and her love for working with children have become the contributing sources of motivation and ideas for writing and illustrating picture books. Nancy calls Oak Park, Illinois home, but enjoys traveling the world.
