Shirley B. Garrett, Psy.D, has a doctorate in psychology and has practiced in the fields of mental health and substance abuse for over twenty-six years. She wrote the self-development book, Stop the Craziness: Simple Life Solutions. Dr. Garrett is also the author of Hot Flash Divas, the first of the Diva series. She lives in North Alabama and enjoys ballroom dancing and hiking with her husband, Bob. Her bibliocat, Pookie, sleeps on her desk while she writes.
