Tiffany M. Simmons is an attorney and managing partner at Simmons Law, a law firm in Atlanta, Georgia, which focuses on criminal defense, business law/civil litigation, and entertainment. She represents high profile clients, businesses, and the everyday citizen and is dedicated to being a relentless advocate for her community. Attorney Simmons has worked on high profile cases such as: Lead counsel for Christopher LeDay, the man arrested on his job after posting the Alton Sterling police shooting video on social media. Co-counsel in the successful secured acquittals in the trial (and multiple re-trials) of Lula Smart and the Quitman 12 (a group of minority political activists unfairly accused of voter fraud in the Brooks County, Georgia election) in 2013. Co-counsel on litigation team for a case that appeared on CNBC’s “American Greed”, a weekly, true crime television documentary series. A distinguished leader in her community, Simmons has served as a board member to several organizations with a mission to provide greater access to healthcare and resources for the welfare and education of children. In 2014, Attorney Simmons instituted the “Simmons Law Memorial Scholarship,” an academic scholarship for the benefit of students attending college. On Sundays in Atlanta, Tiffany serves dinners to the homeless, provides them with clothes and toiletries. Simmons was most recently named by The American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys the “Top Ten Best Criminal Female Lawyers” in Georgia. Tiffany earned the Martindale-Hubbell Client Distinction Award from 2013-2016 and selected by Attorney At Law Magazine “Attorneys to Watch” in 2015. In 2015, she was the recipient of the Rising in Community Excellence Award (RICE award) for her philanthropic efforts in the community. She is the Co-chair of the Criminal Justice Committee Solo/Small Firm section of the AMA, and currently serves as Chair of the Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School Alum Association. Simmons’ likeable personality and passionate advocacy has landed her to be featured on media programs, including CNN’s HLN After Dark, as well as talk and syndicated radio shows. Simmons is a published author penning an e-book for new millineal lawyers called , “Create Your Law Business For This Generation”. She is also a speaker, pushing her series, “More Than Just A Pretty Face", to empower women - young and old - to be freed from labels and perspectives that keep them from realizing their dreams.
