Dominic L. Miller was born in Essex, the son of a second-hand car dealer. Before travelling to South Africa in 1998, he gained employment as a fitness instructor. After five years roving around South Africa, he attempted to create a tour company for terminally ill children. He now lives in Haarlem in the Netherlands, so he cycles rather a lot, eats more cheese than he used to and can differentiate between 17 different types of rain. He is 44 years old and in later life, has improved his impersonation of an adult. Three young gentlemen and a little lady have the questionable honour of calling him Uncle Dom. He takes his role seriously to the extent, he considers it his duty to teach them as many rude words and gestures as possible. Never even close to getting married, he still needs to drink wine to approach ladies and yet, may have met one recently who is willing to put up with him. Long Walk For Nothing is his first book.
