Born in East St. Louis, Illinois and now currently residing in Los Angeles, California Tondra Mosley is a spoken word artist, author, speaker, advocate, human behavior science consultant, plus size model, and interpretive dancer, performing for over 20 years throughout the United States at corporate events, non-profit organizations churches and concerts. Tondra created P S I Am Poetic Sense to express her creative efforts, and has since performed for St. Louis Bar Association, Black Woman’s Caucus as well as the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in East St. Louis, St. Louis and Los Angeles. She has sat under the tutelage of her Godfather and mentor East St Louis Poet Laureate Eugene B. Redmond and the EBR Literary Writers Club. As a spoken word artist, Tondra has Produced and Hosted her own Open Mic talent showcases Thissle Thursdays, Therapeutic Thursdays, Poetic Sense Expressions and Wine Down Wednesdays, Co-Hosted Talley Cafe blog talk radio show, New Black City blog talk radio show, Let's talk talk show on Elations radio show, and has been a contributing poet for American Cancer Society, S.W.A.U. (Spoken Word Addicts Unleashed) Magazine, Drum Voices Review, House Poet for the East Boogie Grooves locally syndicated show, Opening act for Lester Barries’ Tickle Me To Death Comedy Show Series, and contributing poet on the sound track for the film Blue Sunsets And Urban Love.
