This is a lighthearted guidebook to the fulfilled life. It incorporates numerous quotes from philosophers, theologians, poets and a few comedians, as well as commentaries by the author, after each quote. The emphasis is on finding spiritually uplifting ways of dealing with life's "slings and arrows" by means of what the author calls, "optipessimism"--in essence, finding the joy and meaning in life, even when things are at their worst.
