I am the owner and creative director of Global Garden LLC in Madison, WI. Our coloring books combine geography and nature. The Earth is one garden with many flowers. The Global Garden project was inspired by my daughter, who saw a Petunia flower petal, and said it looked like the state of Wisconsin. After this day, I have viewed all maps of countries, continents, and U.S. states as flower petals. In 2014, I started the process of hand drawing maps and then turning them into unique four, five, and six petal arrangements. I have registered copyrights for all fifty U.S. states, all seven continents, and majority of world countries with many more still in production. Global Garden LLC recently attended the 2017 Surtex Art tradeshow in New York as an exhibitor to share our map patterns and designs. It was an honor to meet art industry professionals and receive their positive feedback. The current plan is to draw more country map designs and create unity thru art.
