Josephine Pearce studied at the University of Oxford, and she has taught English Literature at a number of Oxford colleges, as well as GSCE and A Level English at several top Independent Schools in London and the Home Counties. Through the Purley Press, she publishes her very successful "Study Smart" range of guides, which lead students through a range of exam texts. Her latest work is on the poems of Christina Rossetti. In her spare time, Ms Pearce is also a successful publisher of ghost stories, in the tradition of M R James.
