Neva Jean Bryan is the author of the novel St. Peter's Monsters and a collection of short stories and poems called Sawmill Boys. She's also the author of Riverswept and Hearts Race (previously published under a pen name and scheduled to be re-released in 2018). Her works appear in a large number of literary journals, as well as in the anthology We All Live Downstream: writings about mountaintop removal. Her short fiction and poetry have won numerous awards and prizes. Neva is a graduate of The University of Virginia and received a Master of Professional Writing from Chatham University. She lives in the mountains of southwestern Virginia with her husband and their dogs.
