Ravin Aarya is a finance graduate and author, currently heading the Learning and Development department of a business unit of a leading US financial services company in Hyderabad. He lives in the city with his parents and graduated from Andhra University with an MBA in Finance. Ravin’s expertise has meant that he has personally trained hundreds of associates in the investment banking sector. His course content is so highly thought of that it was developed into online courses, enabling it to reach many thousands more people in the financial services industry. Ravin also regularly gives high level presentations to the company’s senior leadership. As well as his career, Ravin is now a budding author and has written for numerous blogs as well as publishing articles on LinkedIn. His first book, 'Barter to Bitcoin', takes a look at the way we deal with money and how it has changed over the centuries. When he isn’t working or writing, Ravin loves reading books and taking long rides on his motorcycle. His love of travel and motorbikes has seen him successfully complete the Himalayan Odyssey, which is a gruelling 3000-kilometre motorcycle ride into the heart of the world’s highest mountain range and isn’t for the faint-hearted.
