Pat Robinson was born in Manchester at the end of World War Two. She took early retirement from being a nursery nurse to travel. It was during her nomadic lifestyle that she wrote The Doll’s Hospital trilogy. Since then she has been a member of various writing groups, one of which was on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. She now lives in Yorkshire and is a member of Pickering’s Castle Writers.
