Synopsis

It has been four years since Jack's nephew and nieces were captured by Abenaki Indians. His first plan of ransom failed. Subsequent years of silence have smothered all remaining hope of seeing the children again. But now, as loved ones drop from his life and purpose becomes harder to find, a figure from Jack's past appears. The unexpected visitor's information compels Jack to once more search for the captive and return home with him...no matter what the cost. The companion volume, Captive, begins the story of Compelled.
