The majority of the grade 7 and above questions require skills from several areas of GCSE mathematics.The questions focus on key areas that students frequently require assistance with. These topics include:1.The use of proportion.2.Recognising an algebra based question.3.Selecting appropriate solution strategies.The full solutions are given at the end of the book. It is recommended that the solutions are studied carefully and that students take note of the methods used to solve the problems. There are over 100 questions in the book. Some of them are quite challenging even for the most able GCSE student. This book by itself will cover some, but not all, of the topics encountered on the GCSE syllabus. There will be other books available in the series that seek to cover the other topics.
