Synopsis
“Chronicles of Earth” is a fictional novel told in the first person. That is in order to follow one straight line; few items outside what is in front of the eyes of the main character are detailed within the pages. All in all it is about one person, quite ordinary and average one, ending up in the middle of a series of events that will not only change him but will change the world around him; in the beginning he doesn’t want to be part of the change but ends up knowing he has to, even more, he has to drive it towards an uncertain end he can’t foresee. Mother Nature, we heard it a million times, well... this novel is how nature created humans to be perfectly fit within everything else around and somehow it gave to humans everything they need to survive and evolve, a perfect body and a perfect brain but the link between them is fundamentally broken and keeps human kind one step back, one step that is so huge that takes them way behind what nature intended with this race. This evolution is making the next step in this story, it makes one guy perfect. It makes him perfect physically as mentally he is on his own and makes a huge amount of mistakes and he is at the edge many times throughout the plot. Normality within an abnormal life is within every page. One man... he lives for centuries trying to understand what he is, what is he supposed to do, how he has to act and throughout the pages he tries to protect the Earth and its inhabitants the best way he can. He is a normal man and even if he is different, normality within him and his actions are revealed in every page, including him changing his mind, asking himself and others questions, even silly ones, to which no answer is given; he makes mistakes, he is about to give up many times, he is sometimes stubborn in the stupid sense of the world, he is pretty much like all other men. This book is also intended to be an action one, many battles and fighting scenes are described in almost every chapter. It also intends to bring up this idea of making the world an ideal one but the road there is difficult and unknown. It is also a novel about family and loved ones, a love story for an eternal life which lead to sacrifice. The last aspect worth to be mentioned within these lines is what is often mentioned within these pages: lack of emotions and what this brings with it, starting with how things are perceived, how decisions are taken and how the actions are. This lack of emotions is not dehumanizing the character though.
