Chantal Bouchard is a linguist and a professor in the Département de langue et de littérature française at McGill University. She lives in Montreal, Quebec. Luise von Flotow is a translation studies professor at the University of Ottawa. She has translated a number of books for Guernica, including Doubly Suspect, Girls Closed In, and The Stalinist's Wife She lives in Ottawa, Ontario.
