Hard Cover. Etat : Very Good. Etat de la jaquette : Very Good. Thomas Taylor Cover Art (illustrateur). Later Printing. ------------( later printing of the First Raincoast Edition ) ----hardcover, about 5.25w x 8h inches, a Very Good example, looks quite nice but there is a stain on the fore edge of the text block (see scan) ---in a visually Near Fine dustjacket but there is a VERY FAINT stain on the verso of the jacket, a bit of age toning to paper, looks new, no writing in the book, ---number line shows this as the 17th printing but it is actually the 16th Canadian printing as the true Canadian First had a number line that started with a 2, this edition is the FIRST CORRECTED edition from RAINCOAST with both errors from previous printings corrected (which were Line 1, page 8 had "highchair" instead of "high chair" (now shows "high chair" ); and on page 53 in the list of "Other Equipment" needed for Hogwart's School, " 1 wand " was listed twice -this shows "wand" just the once ), the upper portion of the spine and jacket and the rear panel show the old magician ( Dumbledore ) vs earlier issues which show a young magician (who is clearly not Dumbledore), ---this edition shows Raincoast / Bloomsbury on the title page and Raincoast and Bloomsbury info on the copyright page AND has Raincoast/Bloomsbury on the lower spine tip of the jacket and the book, as well this has a Raincoast ISBN on the rear panel of the jacket and the book and on the copyright page, this edition lists all 7 HP titles by JKR as well as Latin, Welsh, Irish and Ancient Greek translations, ---the RAINCOAST editions are identical in format to the UK editions and uses BRITISH spelling and grammar ---, any image directly beside this listing is the actual book and not a generic photo ///NOT SIGNED ---GUARANTEED to be AVAILABLE/// ---sizes are approximate--- Size: 5.25w x 8h Inches.
