For over thirty years, Patrick Cummins has been wandering the streets of Toronto, taking mugshots of its houses, variety stores, garages, and ever-changing storefronts. Straightforward shots chronicle the same buildings over the years, or travel the length of a block, facade by facade. Other sections collect vintage Coke signs on variety stores or garage graffiti.
Full Frontal T.O. features over three hundred gorgeous photos of Toronto's messy urbanism, with accompanying text by master urban explorer Shawn Micallef.
Patrick Cummins has photographed Toronto's built environment since 1978 and has worked as an archivist in Toronto since 1986.

Soft cover. Etat : As New. A beautiful photographic tribute to the unsung, everyday architecture that makes Toronto what it is. Patrick Cummings spent more than thirty years taking "mugshots" of the various buildings populating Toronto's streets and neighbourhoods. Various sections collect together photographs of similar types of buildings, such as convenience stores and garages while others are devoted to particular architectural styles from the various periods of the city's history. Of special interest are the combined photos of the same house prior to an after renovation. With an introduction and accompanying text by freelance Toronto Star contributing columnist Shawn Micallef, this book provides a fascinating pictorial account of Toronto's architectural history.
