Synopsis
Designed for beginner DOS users who want to gain increased control over their computers with some simple batch files, this book gives an introduction in file-naming conventions and command-line parameters. The 8 DOS batch commands and a mini tutorial on the AUTOEXEC.BAT files are also included. In addition there are a number of batch-file appropriate examples: controlling printer output, customizing the display and backing up the disk. The author's previous books include "Quick Reference Guides to Quick C", "Microsoft C: Secrets, Shortcuts and Solutions" and "Microsoft C Run-Time Library Reference".
