Charles Poncé has written and lectured extensively over the past 25 years on Jungian psychology, comparative religion, and related fields. He is on the faculty at Rosebridge Graduate School in Walnut Creek, Human Relations Institute at Santa Barbara and serves as Distinguished Special Guest Faculty at the San Francisco Art Institute. He is a training therapist and in private practice in San Francisco.
Archetype of the Unconscious and the Transfiguration of Therapy is a groundbreaking discussion of the texts and subtexts of the therapeutic dialogue. He seems to be telling us that our soul-doctors have entered unknowingly into arenas of power that threaten to undermine the program of autonomy and freedom psychology originally promised.
