CONNIE J. EVASHWICK, is the Andowed chair and director of the Center for Health Care Innovation at California State University-Long Beach, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and a licensed nursing home administrator. She has worked with more than 35 hospitals, health systems, and nursing homes to develop strategic plans for a continuum of care. Evashwick has authored or edited more than 70 publications, including The Continuum of Long-Term Care (1995).
