Noah Baumbach (Writer/Director)was born and raised in Brooklyn, NewYork. He wrote and directed the filmsKicking and Screaming (1995) and Mr.Jealousy (1998). He also co-wrote TheLife Aquatic with SteveZissou (2004) and theupcoming The FantasticMr. Fox with WesAnderson. He is acontributor to TheNew Yorker magazine's"Shouts & Murmurs"department.
Patricia Bosworth is a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. She has taught literary nonfiction at Columbia University and Barnard College, and is a winner of the Front Page Award. A longtime board member of the Actors Studio, she ran the Playwrights/Directors Unit there. Her first memoir, Anything Your Little Heart Desires: An American Family Story, was about her family and the Hollywood Blacklist.
