First published in 1898, The El Paso Cook Book was the first ever cookbook published in the Sun City.
Though available ingredients and kitchen technology has changed over the last century, these historic recipes can still be recreated today by adventurous cooks looking to find the soul of El Paso's culinary past. Readers will discover fascinating insights about cookery at the turn of the twentieth century, delicious Southwestern inspired cuisine and more in this landmark of El Paso's regional food culture.
