Norbert Landa was born in Austria and has worked as a journalist, songwriter and playwright. In 1980 he began writing books for children and has now had over 120 books published. Norbert now lives with his wife in Germany. Jane Chapman has been illustrating for Little Tiger Press for over ten years and has produced many best-selling and award-winning titles. She shares a studio at her home in Dorset with her husband illustrator, Tim Warnes. They have two young sons.
